TAX SERVICES · IN-PERSON & REMOTE

Tax work that starts before the deadline you can see.

Tax preparation, year-round planning and IRS representation from an Enrolled Agent practice. The advice, the return and the IRS follow-up stay under one roof.

The windows this page protects

Five tax windows that close quietly.

S-corp election

2 months and 15 days into your tax year. Miss it, and the savings wait a full year.

IRS notices

Most give you 30 days to answer. Silence is treated as agreement.

Quarterly estimates

April, June, September, January. California wants 70% of the year’s estimate by June.

Refund claims

Three years from filing to claim money you overpaid. After that, it stays with the IRS.

October 15

The extension gives you time to file, not time to pay. Interest started in April.

Minimalist Desk Setup

What you get

One professional, start to finish.

The person who advises you signs the return. No hand-offs between a salesperson, a preparer and a reviewer. The reasoning behind every decision and the return that reports it come from the same desk.

Someone in your corner if the IRS writes. As an Enrolled Agent I represent you before the IRS. I read the letter, answer it, and talk to the IRS so you don’t have to.

Planning before December 31, not explanations in April. A year-end projection while there is still time to act: retirement contributions, timing of income and expenses, estimated payments set to the right amount.

A secure portal, not a shoebox. Upload documents, e-sign and message from anywhere. Whether you’re across town or overseas, your return moves forward without a single office visit.

How it works

Three steps. No shoebox.

1. Book a call.
15 minutes to see which windows are open for you and what your return involves. You get a fixed quote before any work starts.

2. Upload to your secure portal.
A personal checklist tells you exactly which documents to send. Upload, e-sign and message in one place.

3. Review, sign, file.
I walk you through the return before it is filed, and you leave with a plan for next year.

Who this is for

A good fit if…

  • You want one professional who knows your whole picture, year after year

  • You have more than a W-2: a business, rentals, stock compensation, foreign accounts, or an IRS letter

  • You would rather plan in November than be surprised in April

  • You value being answered quickly over the lowest price

Probably NOT a fit if you are looking for the cheapest return in town. Software is the better tool for that.

FAQ

What is an Enrolled Agent, and why does it matter?
An Enrolled Agent is a tax specialist licensed by the IRS itself. Enrolled Agents, CPAs and attorneys are the only professionals with unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Tax is all I do.

Do you prepare state tax returns?
Yes, for every state. Your state returns are prepared together with your federal return, including multi-state situations: you moved during the year, work remotely for an out-of-state employer, own rental property in another state, or run a business that operates in more than one state.

How long does my return take?
Once your documents are complete in the portal, most individual returns are ready for your review within 1-5 business days. Business returns take longer when the books need work first.

I’m behind on prior years. Can you help?
Yes. We start with the years the IRS is most likely to ask about, file them in order, and set up a plan for any balance. If you have received a notice, bring it to the first call.

I got a letter from the IRS. What should I do?
Don’t ignore it and don’t pay it yet. Most notices have a 30-day response window, and many proposed changes are wrong. Upload a photo through the portal for a $195 review, credited toward the response.

Do I have to come to the office?
No. Most clients work entirely through the secure portal. If you prefer to meet in person, the office is at 2033 Gateway Place, Suite 500, San Jose — by appointment only.

What does it cost?
Individual returns start at $450 and business returns at $1,250. You get a fixed quote after our first call, before any work starts.
